Personal
I have lived in the East Tennessee area for the past 35 years. I was a legal secretary before becoming a real estate agent, and worked with a firm that also owned a real estate title company. This is where I gained my knowledge of legal transfers of property in Tennessee. My interest in real estate was sparked and I eventually made the decision to become a real estate professional. I had obtained the knowledge and experience of handling real estate closings and was ready to move on and take a more active part in the real estate world. That was one of the best decisions I have ever made. There is such gratification in helping someone find their dream home or assisting in the sale of a home so the homeowner can move on to other destinations. I have worked with many first time home buyers, from helping them find the right home, obtaining financing and assisting them through the closing procedures. Seeing this excitement and gratification is why I love my real estate profession! I started my real estate career with Century 21 and received the "Listing Agent of the Year" award my very first year.
